Removed front speakers that were very much past their best (still damp from ages ago) replaced with better items and moved the mark on my wellies down an inch to prevent them getting wet again. Jai

Just replaced the altinator.......
Still struggling getting the last bolt off the ****ing starter motor.
Altinator has taken all of 20-25 minutes.
Starter motor has taken from 8am this morning, and I still cant get the ****ing thing off!

started the half rebuild :doh:,
Did a full oil change, removed and blanked the EGR, replaced the turbo hoses with silicone ones, replaced the steering damper with a de-carbon, fitted new EBC brake pads on the front, replaced the rear bumper light with the rotten terminals for a new one(from land rover parts shop, impressed wasent dear and even came with new bulbs, pity the black surround had some silver overspray but still well impressed) and changed the fuel filter, just waiting on the rest of the parts in the post, mainly the springs and new bolts to go with the new shocks and bushes that are waiting to go on, oh and the new ignition lock so I can start it first time every time instead of waiting for it to let me turn the key when it's ready LOL

after 13 hours of trying to get one of the starter mptpr bolts undone, I finnally got it undone.
So thats altinator and starter motor today.
Tomorrow will be replacing the air filter that I replaced last week for another new one, (as this new one got fubared at Frickley on Sunday), cleaning out my airbox, jet washing the engine bay, rad, intercooler and interior, and scraping / pressure washing all the crud off from underneath.
I'm going to have to get a snorkel next week too.

fitted the dash and centre console back together after fitting new blend flap motor,now it still wont work properly,bastid feckin car.
what are you doing on here then? get yer arse back outside and fix it properly.
