Ah found that if ye batter hell out of one of the cups it's sometimes easier to get the circlip out ( after givin' it a good dousin' in GT85 / WD40) then repeat on the other onesWell technically I didn't ask how to do it - Redhand generously proffered the info.
That said, I wish I had found it as straightforward as your excellent guide Busterbus - these ****ing UJ's must have been on the landy for a century - the circlips would not budge - seized absolutely solid and it took an hour and a half of battering, hammering, prising etc. Managed to break the Brother-in-law's vice in the process of knocking the UJ out.
For someone used to tinkering with computers, this is a whole new world! I do hope getting the new UJ in isn't as much of a painas getting the old one out!
The rear shaft can go **** itself - I'm gonna nick the shaft off my SIII instead.
the seat rail had a sharp edge it slid down my hand lol nice clean knife like cut didn't even bleed
yeah but will keep the green fly of the plants when i go fording, oh **** just remembered its a v8 so no wet stuff for me lolYou've fitted a rose arch on ya landies front door?? wtf yu wanna do that for? All the petals will fall off when ya take it off road!!
Put new linings on rear of 110 and found two corroded/useless adjusters. Ooooooh I am fed up with this Land Rover heap o ****e that I paid loads for and had ta park up fer seven months or more cause a cant afford tha repairs after bein ripped off buyin it an I only managed ta drive it six times and got towed home twice an somethin broke every time a used it an it's still not MOTable after spendin over a grand in repairs on it an am FED UP and if a cud get hold o tha bloke that sold it me and promised me that it was a goodun ad RIP his friggin ead off.
