Ignored signs saying don't come this way... went to DIY place for lots of glue for fixing in insulation.

As it is the first day of holiday in the ski season, the gendarmes are out stopping idiots trying to go up snowed up passes without the correct equipment....oddly enough, defenders get waved through!
Realised I still don't know which way the heater controls go, as they don't make any difference.

I got up early to take the old girl out for a drive as I have fixed the clutch :)
Turn the key and..... nothing. Not a sausage :(
I new it couldn't be anything serious lol so I thought 'check fuses' and this is what greeted me:

How the **** can a wire pull off behind a fixed panel?
Still, I have remade the joint. I plan on a rewire early next year so I just put a new connector inline :D
The wiring is a mess and I have a new fuse box etc to fit.
Also, I remade a connector for this relay hanging around in the engine bay......

It comes from the fuse box and it links to the back of the alternator. It had corroded badly. I don't know what it does but it seems important o_O

Changed injector harness cleaned ECU , now running sweet. Before changing harness she started ok but sounded lumpy , once temp gauge had gone about 1/4 , turned off ignition then ran fine . Now happy

Changed the first three glowplugs in the engine (2.5 D, the 19J), which made no difference. Moved a few trailers of wood, came back and had lunch, changed the last and hardest to access glowplug, and the engine turns over with the starter motor, but won't catch....

Worked on it until I ran out of light and charge in the battery. Tried putting the old one back...makes no difference. Now looking at haynes and here to figure out what I've done...
