Pulling the dash binnacle apart cuz the lamps in the centre aren't illuminating when they are supposed to, considering taking the whole dash out now as I really need to do the blower motor bearings.

Repaired the three wires on the LH headlight loom that had rubbed through (who the hell designed those horrible plastic rivets that hold the plastic wheel arch flair thing on?)
Got LH full beam and LH side / tail and number plate lights back. Tracked the still dodgy headlight operation to a furry relay, cleaned tabs, sorted. Winkies still not working (now, now, indicators!), errrm, new Hazard switch?.. sorted. Put a bit of tape over the Trailer Tell Tale on the dash that refuses to go out - maybe a new Flasher relay will do it.
New hand brake cable, can't be leaving it in gear forever. :)

Fixed my four amigos with a new hub and ABS cable.
The sensor actually had a cut in it, maybe from some grit inside the hub.
I think the garage may have had the sensor out when they did my ball joints and got some crap in there. I can't prove it of course.
Still, it's nice to have those lights gone.

I also fixed my engine oil leak. I had neglected to re-fit a stud to the front of the head.
Tiny drops of oil were jumping out on to the fan which transported it up, down, left & right.
There was oil everywhere, all over my newly rebuilt and cleaned engine
:-(

Land Rovers are like dogs. They hate being clean...

Sat watching the mud drop off my motor. Don't wash the body as I'm guaranteed no one will park next to me and leave me space to open my door.

As for dogs

Took it out in the snow to give someone a lift home, what a machine, what an absolute animal of a machine. A few of the unploughed hills I thought might defeat me, but no up them I went.:D
Wiper blades kept icing up and the blowers/heater definitely needs a flush but what a machine the Landy is.

Replaced the ****ty battery i bought last week. Brand new and it cut out when i was going through a boggy field.

Thought i would film the first turn over attempt after she'd be sitting in the yard under snow for a week.

I'm so happy with that sound.

Well after an enjoyable time in Wales greenlaning last week on some of the must do lanes, followed by a wee ongoing bout of Cold..OK it is Man Flu.....

Today it was time to change the brake discs on the 90. As they were kicking a bit at speed and there is a little bit if warp to one of them.

Well, you have to know, a very small fracture in a copper brake pipe on one side and a stub seal gone on the other....Fingers crossed all is good now.

I Think Sunday is the day to do the clutch on the D2.....at least I will get an extra hour at the end of the day...LOL.

Cheers

Aye, but gain an hours light o_O :D
I've changed the drop arm ball joint today. Dead easy with the new tool :)
