Just fitted theses what a pain as the old ones were rusted solid so out came the angle grinder so lot of sparks and swearing and singed beard there done along with new bump stops that were not the're at all
Wow fair play looks like a right job

I’ve finally got my rear screen washer working.

BUT, best of all, I’ve replaced the injector harness, before plugging the new one in I cleaned the points on the top of the injectors with carb cleaner, plug it all back together, now it starts easier and runs soooooo much smoother. :)

Gonna try and fit these the weekend as theres a tutorial on here

I've swore at mine.. hit it with a branch (pretending it was part of a sketch out of faulty towers! ) called it all the names under the sun! Just to take my frustration out!! I'm going insane with the thing!!! It wouldn't start!!! Nothing at all!! No ignition lights or nowt.. thought it was the little fob imobilzer , checked all that!! Then realised I took the battery off this morning as I was going to start pulling the Ac fans and radiator off!!!
I feel guilty now!!
I got distracted by this forum and I've tret my beloved disco like I treat the wife..
I never feel like this broken up inside when I put her in her place!!!

1) Located and terminated an infernal squeak in the suspension with extreme oil squirty prejudice. :D
2) Realised I can't change the hand brake cable without removing the rear drive shaft, need more equipment..:(

Tried to fit a new starter, what a beeatch of a job! Thought it'd be awkward but ..

First thing is the exhaust can't be undone from the manifold 'cos the engine mount is in the way! (Disco 300Tdi on a 19j chassis)

Can't get in from the top 'cos intercooler pipes say no, easy, remove them, he says to himself. Nope, no room to swing a spanner 'cos the heater is in the way.

Spent feckin' ages trying all ways to not strip it down but now resigned to having to take the manifold, turbo, air inlet and front exhaust downpipe off as one piece and pull it up through the gaps. Easy when we put it together, we had no heater or wings or inner wings on it ... ;) Made a start and took the intercooler and heater pipes off and the centre pipe off the exhaust. This'll help a lot 'cos I have a flexible exhaust bit to weld in, might stop the vibes.

my sympathies as i understand now since having the D3 what it’s like when it’s difficult to change or remove items within the engine bay and end up with many parts removed by the item ;):D

got to replace the turbo intercooler hose on mine , will only take around 4-5 hours to change it , lol

Washed all the dirt and oil from new the PAS pump in prep for a change of pump.

Blew my last 3 fuses trying to sort the central locking. In the rain.
