Turned it round, into the sun, in an effort to make it bearable working on it outside! Sun is lovely, shiny and bright .. there is, however. a feckin' gale blowing and it feels like -5degrees ...

thats why i stepped out and stepped right back in brrrrrrrrrrrrr :D:D

got a nice wind free corner, getting the sun, but no wind, so im getting on with making a swing away bike carrier since used carriers go for silly money when I'm gonna cut some of it up anyway.
got a couple of old school tables with decent lengths of square tube im recycling :)

Remembered that I'd forgot to remember to check the oil in me injun ready for Tuesdays trip down to Hebden Bridge.

So I did and she didn't need any ;) ;) ;)

Bruv came over and we ended up drilling a new hole for the EGR valve delete as the bloody drill bit snapped half way through!!

That sorted I thought I'd check the coolant - little low, so topped it up, and started Drover up, started to loosen the plastic plug on top of the thermostat housing to bleed it, and the bugger came away in me hand! Arse - so now I have to hope that I can get one tomorrow and SWMBO ain't to p'eed off with me for needing to use her car!

Pondering is it better to go brass or stick with plastic?!? There's only really pocket money in it - so I might stick with plastic but get a few!

Get ya self to plumbase (other suppliers are available) & get ya self a Brass or iron blanking plug. I've got an Iron one, with a square lug on the top. BIt of ptfe tape and the jobs a good un.

Been tinkering with the carb settings........bloody fiddly things, I'll never understand them

There's a vacuum gauge in the workshop. can't go wrong setting up ya carb with one. Course yu need to know how to use one.. :p

Oh BTW, went to ALDI today & got a combined water seperator/filter/oiler/regulator for the air compressor. Comes with Air hoses anorl. A snip at £19.99. They had a spot blaster tool & a air cutoff tool for £9.99 each as well. But Minty was watching so couldn't get em :(

The 80 is on the trailer and I have put axle stands under each wheel and I might be able to get under it to weld some bits if I find some board to lay on.

Crank pulley is slipped back on and it on charge

Need to sort lots but on the plus side the evenings are getting lighter and work can start again

Drilled out all the old hinge bolts as they were seized solid, ready to fit the new rear door the morrow.

Finished spraying the grey insert of the dash black and rebuilt my dash. Looks much better all black. I would post a pic but its no allowing me!

Well after all the electrical faults, the dash is all back together now, still no heater but that can wait til after MOT time. Just a new washer pump needed, some welding and fog light to sort out and it may well be mot time!

broke both rear shocks at yarwell today and then dislocated both rear shocks shortly after then think i may have broke me thumb replacing the shocks but had massive fun and seriously impressed with the standard ol' girl :D now just need to get my thumb/hand looked at
