Yesterday, fixed ALL of the electrical problems (no fan, fuel gauge goes up with lights or fan switched on, all dash lights come on when ignition switched, can't start Landy with lights on) with one screw as I might have forgotten to re-attach an earth on the bulkhead when I swapped front petrol to derv.
Also got my diff lock light working again and fixed my fuel light.

But did brake the reverse light switch.

Sealed my door lock, window lock and various other holes in my drivers door with rtv. No more draughts thankfully, bloody cold it was too. Made up a wee loom for a 12v socket to go in my dash when I finally repair it, fixed a dodgy earth on the rear light and had a look at the starter before deciding that its a Saturday job

Got the new one in but I had a look at how bloody inaccessible the bolts are and thought #### that lol it can wait till the weekend. Will need to buy a long extension as I'm not wrestling the exhaust manifold off. Reckon my wheel bearings are needing done as well  joy

BIG thanks to warrior for making my winch work at long last! And after he fixed that I went home n fitted rear brake pads, got all my use out off last lot down to the metal on one side! Naughty mandy

Finally got round to securing my CB wire into the landy side panel using pipe lagging foam ....been meaning to do it for ages and it took five mins ...looks well tidy so i'm chuffed .:D

Felt like kicking it!

Went outside to sort the safari door out - Tighten up the rear wiper, fit the central locking safari door lock, motor etc.......

THEN....

Found that the motor etc will not go under the door card so will need a new one.
The barrel for the current lock doesn't fit the new lock.
I need to drill a square hole!
Whilst annoyed by all this found a hole in the rear axle diff casing !!!!!!!!!!!!

Then went to fit the dual alternator bracket and it doesn't work with my alternator!!!!!

DOH!

Fitted new starter motor and bought new battery. Completely skint after last month and this months affairs!

Just been out for a drive about with a mate who just got his on the road :)
