Changed leather gaiters and then caused myself a panic when lost power on trip.

Went to change gear crunch sound and then nothing stopped scratched head selected low box everything ok selected high box and away I went no probs 100 mile round trip. Remembered when fitting the transfer box gaiter I had moved the lever which is really stiff I think I haven't fully engaged it in high before setting off and hey presto issues I got. I hope that is all it was anyway and hope no damage cause for the few 100 m it took to get to a stop.

nothing... got ****ed off after failing at doing some calculations, then ####ing up breakfast as I had almost no sleep.. so went back to bed lol

Found more of my drive shaft clunking , thats shagged me thinks:D

Stoged a patch on the front off side outrigger. Wanting to get a new chassis later this year so a stoge job was good enough.

Fitted a new light & horn stalk switch on the steering wheel. Typical made in China replacement didn't fit. Had to grind part of the holder off.
Also fitted a new temperature sender unit. Third on in two years. This time this one didn't come in a blue box so I have high hopes.

Driven it to work - a bit unusual for me but it was too slippery for my usual transport - and consequently discovered that the handbrake is unadjusting itself AGAIN, with the MOT appointment set for later in the week :(

I took my spare wheel carrier off again and filed the bolt holes in the bottom hinge into a slot shape so that I'd got as little more adjustment. Bingo. It sits at the right height to connect to the back door now. I've also cleaned the chassis a bit more by applying he pressure washer to all the doles to hose the dirt out from inside. I'll leave that to dry for a few days and put some more Dinitrol on at the weekend. I began drilling out some of the sheared bolts on the fuel tank plate, but it was not going well so I knocked the captive nuts off with a hammer and chisel and put real nuts and bolts on instead.

Doc every time I see that it never seems to be any different and is always covered by a tarp. How's it coming on?

The tarps just there because I haven't been arsed to remove it since putting the roof on :eek:

Heres a paste over from my build thread;

Anyway after a few hours of toiling and struggling in the ****ing wet I got the axles completed and three of the four brakes un stuck. Passenger front one is still seized up but a little tug forward with the disco should free it up :)

Anyway some progress pics :D

Ooh nice wheels and tyres. They look a bit out of place, sure you don't wanna sell em to me? £12.50 and a burger king of your choosing

Don't think they'd fit on your little 90 ;) They'll look a bit more in place once I make up some nice big wheel arches.

Gonna go for a boxy style like on quarry wagons

As long as they don't look too overkill. And I think you'll find that those tyres would look fantastic on my 90, it'll be just what it needs. That and paint

Booked it in for its MOT.

Rear seats, spare wheel etc. removal tonight and then I guess I'll find out how bad the rest of it is tomorrow.
