'New' 200 tdi fired up first time in 90, now to get power steering pipes and reservoir fitted, new cambelt, radiator, intercooler and some more wiring.

Then handbrake to decide on and finish interior, busy busy:)

Changed a wheel as had a total flat this morning - knackered valve on the tube. Also refixed my freshly powder coated bull bar.

Yesterday was lumbered with taking a few mates old mopeds to the bike breakers, burned 1/4 tank of diesel and only got £30  and when a friend was hitching the trailer he smashed it into the back door and dented it.
Then had to admit to the girlfriend that she was right and I was wrong and shouldn't have done it in the first place.
But i did find a pretty little lane right behind her house with a stream and everything and smashed another mirror glass

Still new tyres ordered so hopefully will be able to stop again.

Got fed up with my hand break seizing up whilst driving, and not doing anything when I try to apply it when parked. So I took the whole lot off until I can replace all the worn out bits. Which is basically the whole landy haha.

that will make an interesting MOT

It's just passed thankfully. So I have some time to get it sorted :) surprised it passed anyway it's so bloody useless.

linderbody schultz'd the new os sill, floor panels & bulkhead patches. Checked all the disc pads - all look good - now ready for MOT

I tried to take to have a look at the mounting for the snapped aerial which involved me standing on the front wing, which in the middle of town got some funny looks!!
Ended up ordering one of the window mounted ones of e-bay for a fiver nothing to loose!!

Pulled the interior trim out of the back of the Disco to get to the rust and snapped a seatbelt bolt in the process.
Stripped the still-sodden soundproofing out from under the carpets.

Stripped her down ready to change crank seals and put new cambelt on, should have bought seals and gaskets first dooh! thought I might get away with the water pump gasket but cant:)

Took it to Plymouth to finish Christmas shopping, sounded bloody lovely in Drakes circuit car park with the straight through side exit.
then coming home tonight got tailgated by a total coont in a BMW so when I got to the 20 zone near my girlfriends house I slowed down to about 5mph and the prick overtook me full beam with all the lights for him for the next few miles. Wish I slammed on and made the w*nker hit me up the ass!

Engine looks good painted up Pete.

Thanks mate, don't like scruffy rusty engines, not the done thing really but if it annoys the purists and those who don't like BLUE land rovers then I'm happy:D

Wont want to get it dirty when its finished:rolleyes:

Bolted down my noo toolbox ( its a metal filling documents box, nice a cheap and lined it with foam)
