Changed the rear door lock as the old one was very tempermental and i didnt want to leave it unlocked in the marsh car park.

Will give it a clean and check all fluid levels tomorrow.
 
Fitted new windscreen an new seal, some job for a first timer on his own!

N/s rocker gasket on my 4.4 L322, did O/s, bit of a bitch, but N/s has more stuff in the way, ie, Lpg vapouriser, some sort of coolant valve and stuff
Grazed knuckles and a boot in the balls for the dog i foresee:D NOT my dog, heavens above. Its my M8's.:cool2:

It would be an easy job if you can get help to apply some pressure from the outside whilst pulling in the cord on the inside, and get some soapy liquid around to help the process.

Wonder if a rubber with an insert (like Minis etc) would do the job, might not be as tight a fit until the strip goes in and that's easy with a tool:)
 
New front dampers and galvanised heavy duty turrets. What a sod getting the old one out!

Had to take the angle grinder to the old turret and take it out in pieces.
 
Fitted 2 rear shocks (yesturday i admit but close enough) and started sorting out my new light bar :) got to wire it up tomorrow and it'll be good to go. Oh and ive got to check the range rover over before peterborough.
 
course it does how often do you use a winch I aint doing winch challenges.
have been with more than 1 landy with twin batteries that couldn't keep up with their winch , that baby wont take bugger all out of the battery.
lad that gave me the link on the bay uses one on his 8274 without 2 batteries
