Broke the glass in my offside mirror (90) trying to adjust it, siezed with rust:(

Going to put some series ones on the wings I think, is that allowed:confused::)

Dunno, might look a bit silly on a 90........Looks awesome on a Series :)

We're to start :) I dropped the back of my little 90 pick up to pick a hutch up for my lass. Got back home just pulling on the drive to see a oil poring out on the drive. New job tomorrow :-(

Had 15 mins to find reason for knocking/juddering coming from wheels and fix before picking up kids from school... Passenger side wheel bearing hopelessly loose... :-/ tightened, put tools away, got to school on time!! But knocking juddering noise still there!! :-/ also noticed leaf spring u-bolt nuts are half way down the thread on drivers side.. But have stick there, and are immovable!!! :-/ ordered some more bolts and nuts, will cut old one off, and hope that sorts the knocking/juddering out.... ?

noticed a puddle under the front of the 110 last night thought it was the pas box leaking (seemed to be oily, with this cold could'nt use me sense of smell to tell what it was) the PSF was about half way down the res so assumed i had leaky PAS box as its always had a bit of oil about it :(.
took the rocker sound proofing off the top to get a better look at it, turned out to be the coolant pipe from the fuel cooler to egr thingy above the water pump, clamp(jubilee clip type) had cut into the hose and was weeping through there. got a new jubilee clip and cut about an inch off the pipe and refitted, needs a new pipe but that will do till the new silicone hose arrives from fleabay.

Removed knackered old drag link and refitted new one, should have taken no time but I was silly and faffed about so it took 3 hours.
Should have got the grinder out first.
Then was told that none of my lights were working...

Fell out wea it whilst changing the oil cooler pipes. Shouted at it and got angry:mad:.......turns out me being as numptie i left one of the o-rings in the filter housing end and hence why it wouldn,t go back together:rolleyes:.

theres a leson in there somewhere and i think its me being a tube!:D

Decided to paint it dark blue, a bit at a time. I'll start by refurbing the nearside hub and painting it.
When the weather gets warmer that is

Cleaned the ECU red plug of copius amounts of oil and ordered a new injector harness to hopefully prevent this occurring again. Doing this instantly cured the M and S error I had from yesterday. Fitted aftermarket non-fancy side runners to aid egress, trouble free aside from failure to remove the screws for the original front mudguards due to corrosion. Had to cut them off with a knife.

Took the truck to nearest tyre place, who had ordered me in a set of 4 General Grabber AT's for them to fit. Tracking also done.

Drove home mighty impressed with the difference in the AT's from the Wranglers that were on there. No tramlining at all and steering felt much more precise.

Tomorrow, is the start of a complete service, just awaiting some bits and pieces to arrive from mail order.

Came to realisation I have spent almost £1k since picking up the D2 last Saturday and it is still middle of the week :-(

Renewing rear wiper blade on my Discovery 2. Pain in the arse having to remove the spare wheel. Then went round all the car shops to find that they don't stock them!!!! Thankfully I found a land Rover/Audi service centre stuck in the middle of nowhere who had one. And he didn't charge the earth. At £2 cheapest wiper I have ever bought!!!!

If I 'members correctly, yu. Don't need to remove spare wheel. Just park it vertically & replace blade.

Cleaned and painted rear half of chassis and rear axle and started to clean up drivers side front outrigger and found a hole ,so weld job for tomorrow
