Won some new doors for it off fleabay :D. I love a bargain me, two passenger push button doors and one drivers door all with glass and in repairable condition for the princely sum of £3.20!!

Replaced reverse light switch woohoo now have a set of functioning reverse lights....so whilst on a roll cracked bleed nipples on steering box :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:forgot to turn engine off!!!!!!
Now the engine bay has had a steam clean power steering fluid replaced three jobs in one afternoon now that's productive.

Don't have much choice, can't afford to scrap it, :( Just one thing after another.

I knew it would need a new chassis when I bought it. But didn't realise it was gonna fall apart before I could afford to buy a replacement.

bugger, you have a welder though i take it??.

Repainted my rear cross member and noticed a crack in the chassis coating just behind the rear offside bump stop. Cut out the rot, welded in a new piece, painted and waxoyled it.

I'm a bit ****ed off about finding more rot, in the summer of 2011 I went over the chassis with a fine tooth comb and repaired every bit of corrosion I could find. I then painted the outside with high zinc paint and waxoyled the chassis inside and out.

The paint and waxoyl on the outside still seems to be ok I think it has just rotted through from the inside despite the gallon of waxoyl that went in there .

Apologies for the photographic quality the camera on my phone is not very good.

Pressure washed the thing. This has made sure that I can clearly see the rusty bits and holes (air conditioning) in the arches. Pressure washers should be fecking banned
