:( new exhaust fitted. got back then crawled under and tackled sedimentor on rear undone 11mm nut on top loosened then got diesel everywhere anyway easy job got new seals from landrover and cleaned all gunk out with carb cleaner an refitted jobs a good-un
 
Done a mini-service and got it ready for a weeks caravanning and green-laning in Derbyshire .. in between working and working ... ;)
 
Injectors are way to expensive for my liking seen some new ones on ebay for 60 each for a 300 tdi but theres a few with different part numbers?

Just had a look and there are Genuine one's and Bosch one's. As far as I know the Genuine one's are Bosch and they have a different code to suit the manufacturer. Land Rover just put their name on stuff and charge an arm and a leg for them :rolleyes:

Nothing today, got to take the broken light off the front tomorrow but I hit a rabbit in it yesterday which brings my roadkill count up to one for the year
 
Felt well enough to fit some pipes on my vw,gearbox switch on step dads van and slap input gear in transfer box fill up and fit gasket.
 
Scraping rust off. Winch Bumper off. Steering guard to get final coat of paint. Scraping rust off. Bit more painting and waxy stuff around the front end and inner wings. Run some new cables around front end for new control panel switches. Scrape rust off. make bracket for train horn. fit bracket for train horn. fit brackets for spotlight chokes and cable as required. Did I mention scraping rust off??
