Oh I know its going to go down as my fault :( but I'm just saying its damn annoying when you're not fully at fault. I saw him roll out and accelerate then I looked to see if I had time to do the same so I started moving off as I knew he had moved then the bastard slammed his brakes on!

C*nting bastard :( there were blue lights and the ambulance had signalled and already moved over onto the sliproad when he slammed the brakes on! The next car was at least 10 seconds behind the ambulance too so there was more than enough time for the pair of us to move out :( :(  fu*k it though its done, guess I'll just have to face the wrath of the insurance company and dad when I get home :behindsofa: Literally the most **** sprinkled month I've ever had. Did everything right as far as I'm concerned and I've been going over it in my head for the last few hours, pulled up behind leaving at least two meters so I left ample distance from the car infront, had my LED sidelights on so it wasn't as if I couldn't be seen, the guy pulled off fully and was more or less at the edge of the junction and still moving by the time I looked to see if it was safe too, the ambulance was half way down the slip road with a car miles behind, then bump  I'll upload a pic tomorrow right now I cba  too ****ed off to bother I just want to lie down and forget about it but I cant fu*king sleep can I     :violent::violent::violent::violent: :hurt::hurt: :hurt::hurt:

As I said I know its going to go down as my fault and I can see why but in my head I just cant justify it to myself but yeah……its done now and maybe there was a reason why who knows, **** happens and sometimes it prevents you from things by messing with something and sometimes its just there to **** you off

I blame myself fully for the first one this month but two in the space of three weeks is a joke :( especially as I feel that I'm not fully to blame for this one but its the only way its going to be seen as I went into the back but as I said above **** happens :( even if it is annoying there might be a reason for it or if not I can chalk it up to more experience and attempt to build up some no claims again but for now I'm going to look into other insurers who'll do it with no no claims and an accident :(
In 20 years, it won't mean a thing. Sh*t happens.

I know it wont matter but I think I might have to buy a smaller lower insurance group car for a bit and then run that for a year to build up another no claims on and just keep the disco garaged  insurance here is way overpriced!

I think another series might be on the cards

I've done the same, literally coasted up to a fiat punto, not in gear, driving into work and I wasn't paying full attention, and tapped the back of him, fiat needed a new tailgate because there were two very big wipac shaped dents in the back of it, just goes to show how weak fiats are because my driving lights didn't even smash, and also proves how stupid I was, completely my fault, and I payed for it, as said before, **** happens

I'm going to call the guy later and try to sort it out without insurance if not my next premium will be sky high :( my Hellas took the brunt of the blow luckily I only paid 20 for them though so not too bad but anyway I'll attempt to get the pic up tonight. I accept that I shouldn't have assumed he had followed through and left the junction but there was no reason why he shouldn't have but yeah never mind now, it's done and I've dealt with the parents do now for him and the insurance company.

The paints scratched but that's it other than losing the light and a light cover :( the KC ones are about £20 each to replace

What i did with the disco crash. When their insurance come back with invoice, say 50/50, thought it was suspicious and offer half the money. Most accept.

Found my oil leak, well one of them!

Oil cooler pipe, the lower one where it connects to the oil filter top housing, 22mm locknut only finger tight! The two 8mm bolts holding the spigot on weren't too tight either!

Well, it looked and felt dry after a quick 10 minute thrash round the local shops .. ;)

Treated her to a Bearmach swingaway wheel carrier after a visit to MM4x4 ... she'll be having an expedition roof rack from there on Friday ... £280 + VAT and look superb!

Stripped and repaired my passenger door bottom, only cost me abit of elbow grease.. Used a length of 18 gauge steel and some inch box section, I know have a good solid door which doesn't fall to bits when closed.

:)

My £1 fuel filter came today... looking good. Fit that after i get back from work tomz, don't want to do it before just in case I don't get her going again haha. And my replacement passenger footwell came. Nick the welder from work and lear how to weld me things, as well as learn how to take the wing of. Not difficult ppl say, but i expect it will be a piggie to do.

We shall see... :D

Not long had mine but the first Job is the EGR removal and fit a bypass kit, then fit a replacement panel filter ITG/KnN/Pipercross.
