Finally fitted the Nato hitch I brought 6 weeks ago.
Think that's recovery points sorted on the rear between that and the jate rings. :)

Took front prop off to replace front UJ, lost another grease nipple and rusty, and noticed play in the diff flange so thought I'd whip it off and replace the seal anyway and have a looksee ..

Glad I did 'cos the front pinion bearing is just about shagged .. Nyloc holding the flange on was very loose, which was the first clue, being able to move the pinion shaft about 1/2" up and down when the flange was off is the other!!

All the rest sounds good, very minimal backlash, no extra rotation or noise so the diff as a whole seems good, but glad I caught this before it disintegrated and took the rest out with it!

;)

... and now it's started to pee it down :wtf:

Fitted new reverse light, moved hi-lift from rear of Landy and re-mounted it on the inside bulkhead and repaired back door latch temporarily!

What happened? :(

Came to a junction stopped, car infront committed to the junction and moved off, ambulance was coming signalled onto slip road car behind the ambulance was at least 300m behind the guy was still committed and moving, I turn to look at the ambulance and car behind to make sure I can make it too, turned head back and the guy had done an emergency stop and I was committed and couldn't stop in time so yeah....... Bang! Dent in his rear door and I wrote off one of my Hella lights not amused to say the least fu*king moron had more than enough time to pull out but decided to do an emergency stop when he knew I was only a few meters behind and committed to the turn too so yeah a **** end to a partially **** filled month but I'm at Phoebes now so I'm happy but a bit ****ed that I've crashed twice this month. First one was my fault but this I'm not taking blame for the cu*t had more than enough time to pull out and knew I didn't have enough time after committing   just a **** sprinkled month really, not looking forward to going home or next years insurance renewal

Not tryna take there side, people do try this to make a injury claime but as rule of thumb police and insurance blame the person behind :( , its so annoying when people see blue lights miles away and just slam on the breaks which isnt the way to do it! :(

foolishly took steering rods off and tryed to removed track rods, when i needed the car , they were stuck in like a bitch, and one bar was bent :/ so had to order a new set from paddocks , arrived today and fitted them after work with my dad :) , now just gotta go get it all alined tomorrow morning :)

Fitted me noooo(to me) 100amp alternator :)

Now.........what to do with the bloody gert lump of metal it came attached to?:p

Oh I know its going to go down as my fault :( but I'm just saying its damn annoying when you're not fully at fault. I saw him roll out and accelerate then I looked to see if I had time to do the same so I started moving off as I knew he had moved then the bastard slammed his brakes on!

C*nting bastard :( there were blue lights and the ambulance had signalled and already moved over onto the sliproad when he slammed the brakes on! The next car was at least 10 seconds behind the ambulance too so there was more than enough time for the pair of us to move out :( :(  fu*k it though its done, guess I'll just have to face the wrath of the insurance company and dad when I get home :behindsofa: Literally the most **** sprinkled month I've ever had. Did everything right as far as I'm concerned and I've been going over it in my head for the last few hours, pulled up behind leaving at least two meters so I left ample distance from the car infront, had my LED sidelights on so it wasn't as if I couldn't be seen, the guy pulled off fully and was more or less at the edge of the junction and still moving by the time I looked to see if it was safe too, the ambulance was half way down the slip road with a car miles behind, then bump  I'll upload a pic tomorrow right now I cba  too ****ed off to bother I just want to lie down and forget about it but I cant fu*king sleep can I     :violent::violent::violent::violent: :hurt::hurt: :hurt::hurt:

As I said I know its going to go down as my fault and I can see why but in my head I just cant justify it to myself but yeah……its done now and maybe there was a reason why who knows, **** happens and sometimes it prevents you from things by messing with something and sometimes its just there to **** you off

Edited for accuracy

Harsh but true.....did it myself a few months back, nobody to blame but myself

I blame myself fully for the first one this month but two in the space of three weeks is a joke :( especially as I feel that I'm not fully to blame for this one but its the only way its going to be seen as I went into the back but as I said above **** happens :( even if it is annoying there might be a reason for it or if not I can chalk it up to more experience and attempt to build up some no claims again but for now I'm going to look into other insurers who'll do it with no no claims and an accident :(
