Last week filled the tank for fifty five quid. Today.....I know it was low as the electric pump bolted to my seat box was tapping every now and again but filled it up for sixty three of the realms coins!

Still done feck all today, replacing the 200tdi crankshaft damper (TV, whatever) has been trying however, once the correct part number was found (ETC4105) I popped down Matlock way to see the saviour, okay then 'Paddocks'. The item seems to be what is needed so, timing belt, seal replacement and helicoiling in store for a fun filled day tomorrow.

Discovered that she has been spewing liquid gold out from a small hole in the bottom of the leak off pipe. Thought it was oil originally as it was running down the side of the engine and taking the grime with it. On the plus side its slightly cleaner now but I wondered why my fuel gauge was showing empty already :(

Just fitted a noo spigot bush prior to fitting noo clutch. Fook me the bastid was tight. Had to hammer it in with a socket over the thing. Had to order a ****part one cos no fooker stocks em anymore. tried Lrseries Famous4, and paddocks all say 2day wait. Island did HD fork and spigot as a kit. Was expecting a proper bush not a badly cutoff piece of tubing. Had to dress both ends to get rid of the burrs. and judgiing by what me micrometer is saying its gonna be a fooking tight fit getting the mainshaft into the fooker.

Not tried unipart? I've always found them pretty good and if its something they don't have in stock they usually get it very quickly

Bought a truck cab and canopy on slroc this morning - collect tomorrow

Went to remove the steering wheel only to find out my puller doesnt have the right thread and i dont have long enough bolts in my parts drawer or in anything i own to fit through the puller and the steering wheel :(

So i built a wardrobe in the spare room* for the mrs which i half started on tuesday but didnt get any further than spreading the pieces about the bedroom before retirin to the study with coffee to study the instructables. And even after that i still added a bugger load more inch self tappers to stop it feeling like a house of cards

* absolutely nowt to do with it being - 5 outside plus windchill up ere atop the hill in top drive manor

why not let you break it first, then you can rebuild it and re spray it at the same time.:D:D

It's gonna take me a while to deck out the workshop in the truck so I'll have plenty of time to break it while I'm doing that.
