I have fitted the water system and fuel system to the engine along with the air and heater plugs,filled with anti freeze and oil ready for setting the rocker gaps..

exhaust and turbo also fitted.
 
not as much as a i wanted, but quite a productive and satisfying day :)

Got my exhaust sealed and repositioned, no blowing and rattling (twas touching the chassis !!)
UJ and prob bolts, nice to be able to drive over 35mph without vibes.
Extended breathers.
Snorkel fitted.

oh,and cleared all the ****e out of the back, how did i accumulate so much crap, prolly get another 2mpg!!

Taken me all night and day to work out yer on about a dual mass flywheel :doh:

Still don't really know what one of them is but sounds expensive :(

Spent 3 minutes of my lunch break fitting me noo wiper arms and blades :)

Won't fookin rain fer months now :rolleyes:

Think it's the special gear system, it selects the next gear ready for change making gear change super fast?
 
Sprayed the front hinges with lubricant after the salt virtually seized them up, did my usual sunday under bonnet inspections, fluid levels etc etc and found that the water pump belt was damn near in peices, changed the belt, also swapped the rear wheels for the front wheels so that the tyres wear a bit more evenly :D

no it takes the shock load out of the engine torque through the gearbox.making gear changes smoother.supposedly.pain in the arse they are.nothing wrong with a good old fashioned flywheel.
