i walked past mine yet again, while getting a lift in someone else's vehicle as mine still sits on the drive in an almost undrivable state :(

roll on tomorrow when I'm finallly able to attempt to get it to the garage.

I fitted some interior courtesy lights that come on when the drivers door is open. I used led's from maplin and mounted 2 in each side of the inside upright on the windscreen;

This is a nighttime piccie with no flash;

And this is with the led lights on;

Did the "Penny trick" - jobs a goodun :D
Started to dismantle EGR for the EGR removal kit I just bought, only to find it was already de-EGR'd :rolleyes:. Mind you there is still 5mm of ****ty tar everywhere, so it looks like the intercooler and inlet manifold will be coming off for a clean sometime.
Tarted up front bumper (derust & Hammerite).
Removed a few more bits from the "Convertable".

refitted dashboard fitted my new clocks and run out of screws Bastid thinking I need a multi plug for mt dash console as there are sill ammount of wires to rig back up lookin for somthing suitable online as I want to be able to remove it quickly if need be.

Removed my washer bottle to see why it wasn't holding water.
Soon figured it out. 300tdi washer pumps don't sit flush into a 200tdi washer bottle!
Have made a gromett out of tiger seal so tomorrow i'll put it back together and test it.

Did my first long(ish) journey in the Ninety today since fitting the 200tdi. Was surprised at the relatively high temperature it ran at pretty much all the way - was over 90 degrees. I don't have a viscous fan fitted, and was cruising at around 60-65mph. Sound ok?

driven 25 miles to the garage with knackered wheel bearings only to spend the time sitting in the waiting room instead of watching and learning because of damn HEALTH AND SAFETY!!! :(:(:(:mad::mad:

took a days' leave and driven it to the garage and back to seemingly have them do only half the work i booked it in for, claiming the rest of it was fine, whereas in fact it's apparently completely f*cked and needs replacing :(

well, the car started playing up today so rolled under the landy after dark and bled the breaks, run her across the field a few times then tightened up the bolts on the new paras, running good now, still wandering back and forth though!
