Really? No heating required even with used, filtered chip oil?
Wicked, i'll see how i can thin it out.

it'll be a bit lumpy to start, and it'll expose any engines with dodgy glow plus or low compression - this has all been done to death on here a zillions times

Fixed my n/s front Side light on my D2 by using fiberglass repair stuff to stick it back in as the lugs had broke off

will do untill I get a new light housing or upgrade to the later D2 lights:D:D

Changed the lift pump yesterday...sorted. Would'nt be much of an ask for the manufacturers to put a couple of new olives in with feckin thing would it!

good job it didn't happen on a trent engine then isn't it DB.:screaming_bug_eye_f:faint2::bolt:

Just fitted a n/s/f window regulator that I got from a scrapped door, not half as bad a job as I thought it'd be and even better the door only cost me a tenner:D So, so glad there'll be no draught's down me neck this winter:banana:

Replaced ns wing mirror glass £18!!!, ns rear indicator holder, checked oils - all look OK, although Gbox (R380) looked red - mite be ATF, rather than MTF. Seems a bit "whiney". Drained washer bottle and refilled with lemony stuff:D. Replaced window wiper blades. Replaced washer jet that was blocked. Got OAT to do antifreeze. Tried to re-sync keyfob (unsuccessfully). Refilled Aircon and it works :D, although compressor squeels abit. Sprayed the Difflock mechanism with WD40 and got it moving a lot easier .
Steering has a bit of play - not sure if its steering box or ball joint(s) - will have to check further, but yu can "feel" the play. On the whole - a good motor :D.

changed my temp sender and it seems to have sorted out the temp under load issue... yay! also fitted a new alternator, auxilliary belt and a brand new battery... ready for winter now must just fit my raised air intake on the passenger wing for the heater blower and i shall be happy...

Fitted me a new thermostat as I didn't have one and me heaters work great now, bled the fuel system which eliminated a flat spot around the 3k rpm mark so she goes well too.

New pair of work lights on the rear and re done the wiring.

Took off the drivers side step before it falls off like the other one

Just wondered if anyone knows a good way of making the 300tdi dash a bit brighter/clearer?

Jon
