Jet washed the underneath and engine bay of mine. Discovered that POR15 rust paint doesn't seem to stick. :mad: so gotta do that again.
Then was gonna remove my muddy carpets but that was delayed after all my windows started to play up. Problem was traced to a short in the window ecu.
Fixed and now just enough time to clear up and go get ready for work.
 
Fitted Anderson connectors to both the outside of my seat box, and one end of my jump leads.

Ill soon be restricting access to the battery compartment with modified seats, so the Andersons could be a godsend.
 
took the new front prop off the old 90 (front drive flang nut had worked loose :mad:)
also fitted some new HD steering control rods

Yesterday was woundering why my fuel gauge was droping quickly since I had put the new Alternator on when I got home noticed a leak apear as I walked over to the front door poped the hood smelt deseial.....

All the Spil return hoses from the Injectors... dam rubber cover for the engine had rubbed through them :mad:.

So this morning found some rubber hose for an emergency fix, called a 4x4 supplier got a quote of £50ish for a rail of Landrover ones :eek: and £20ish for Pattern :( , looked on ebay got a meter length of braided fuel pipe to fit for just over £3 delivered :) - quick job for next week when it arrives.
 
Took the carpets out of mine for the last time. Just full of mud and holding water so no point being there.
Gonna wash it and then need to find a heater or de-humidifier to dry the fcuker out!
 
Once the Mrs had finally brought the Disco home I adjusted the handbrake & am well chuffed that I finally found time to fit extended breather's to the axle's, if the weather holds out I'll do the gear/transfer box's tomorrow...
 
Bought her a set of valve stem caps, i first set the gas a couple of moths ago, i didnt know about the caps then and i'm damn sure they were all missing.
 
As the met office is predicting a big drop in temperature in the coming days I decided to make sure I get the best out of the heating system on my landy. I flushed the cooling system out and replaced the anti-freeze, lubed up the heater control cables, and checked the drain valve in the heater intake on the wing was clear. I also topped up the screenwash and checked the wiper blades were in good nick.
 
As its gonna be cold I have removed all the water from me 200tdi to save it freezing.

Well it sorta dropped out when I took the pipe off the water pump so I could strip it down to replace the crank gear and woodruff keys that have decide to crack. Also have bough a new damper as this had cracked too. Got meself a new propshaft and told Craddocks to keep their Britpart crap. Just need to find the pulley now.
 
blanked egr, done fluids and and filters, fitted new tubular bumper and a cubby box... also found a galvanised roofrack with a ladder for 80 squids... yay!

Loosened rear axle mounts ready to remove it.

Fitted Efi to a mates V8 90 without to many hiccups and ordered a new stat for my 300tdi as i'd like to be warm with the bad weather coming.

Also ordered new ropes, wading kit, snow/mud escapers and some new work lights for the rear.
