"Re-torqued" (ahem) rocker cover bolts, fitted acoustic cover, fixed HDC switch, put some copper grease on back of brake pads to stop squeeeeeeeeeeling, and adjusted the crap "automatic" adjusters on the rear drums. Good stopping power and a decent handbrake now!

got the wire brush and kurust out today, to "have a go" found more rust than i thought i would, mostly all over the rear crossmember, then when the kurust had dried, painted over with hammerite ready to underseal some bits, in prep for waxoyl, then had to scour my face with white spirit and fairy liquid, now my face is stinging like F**k happy days

put the new runners in my front doors and fitted glass, hung doors back on the landy as near to weatherproof now as it will ever be:)

I went to see my mate Tom today to see how he's getting on putting the 200tdi in his 90.
Well the engine and boxes are in with props on and it all fits nicely on the relocated engine mounts. Bonous is now that there is no need to alter the oil cooler pipes or the hoses as it all fits very well with just a few little niggles, like the turbo outlet is very close to the inner wing but not a problem. Even the Disco downpipe fits so no problems with the exhaust as in expensive fabricated pipes.
This is all good news as I'm doin the same thing to my 110 soon and am learnin from what Tom is doing.:)
