The first few days I was ****ting a brick just stood on the scaffolding. By the end of the top roof I was up to the chimney pot without the scaffolding.

As soon as we started the lower roof i was fine cos it's half the height and after the upper roof it seems a doddle.

We've all had a few heart stopping moments though.:eek::p
 
oh yers lot got me feckin gear box in :drum::banana:

Mrs car is bust so while waiting for stuff in the parcelmanvan done me rangie.feckin props dont fit so will have to draw up some extra "bits"
 
i was working at wrothan park a couple of months back in a mahooosive marquee with a this dude from work named boggy. he had built a 16m scaff tower, badly. standing on the top of that big old slag while a mental northerner runs up the outside rocking the whole thing was scary as... i understand your pain mate.
ere ratty, u up for a cheeky bbq tmorrow evening?

If you're intending to do a lot of travelling it's cheaper to get a one week island parking pass than it is to pay for 2 days parking charges in various carparks.;)

I think it's from the tourist information offices. There's one in most of the main towns.
 
Finally got my insurance docs (freakin post) and taxed the landy. Went for a drive and find the front wheels need balancing.
Give it some serious stick from the lights and loved it, it goes like f*ck with the disco transfer box and the K+Ns (fake ones from JTF £6) certainly improve the sound track.
goin out again tomorrow:D
 
Carried my chassis on to the back of a Recovery truck and saw it go off into the sunset..... Hopefully never to be seen again :D
 
Took mine in for MOT and it's stayed in the place over night.....which means I'll have to drive the Honda in the morning.

It feels like you're scraping your arse on the floor after the Disco...I'll have to make up for it with the loud pedal :D
 
Nothing yet.

Waiting for new filler cap - 'coz it's a definite fail until that arrives. Hopefully first thing in the morning.

I was hoping they'd do all the MOT except that while we waited, but turns out they haven't even looked at it yet :(
 
Local.......my normal mechanic is on holiday so couldn't get him to do it before MOT ran out.

It's only an MOT so my standards are a little lower....they were 4th on my list to try.
