That's the business JP, nice one.

Got a mig welder given me in exchange for a nackered old motorbike and got it working today, so looking forward to doing my own body/chassis repairs and making rocksliders etc ... ;)

hahaha MHM!! mate... I've had enough of it....i cant look at it anymore!
and there's still some bits left to do...
Welding underneath is a real pain, the weld is hard to stick and keep getting loads of blobs...

looks a bit rusty, but its only surface, so i've left it coated today in ACF50, tomorrow is just rubbing down and it will shinny again :)

PaulD.. good luck!!

Got to a point I had to put an old bike leather jacket over my legs to stop getting burnt!

btw, what was the process again?
is it... weld through spray - seam sealer - paint - underbody seal ? right?

:D:D:D:eek::eek::eek:

it was bound to happen sooner or later :eek: :p.. your kinda shaky when it comes to your feet not bein firmly on the ground :p

falling off the ladder weren't too bad.

It wuz taking the scaffolding down on my own cos the two northeren t'wats wuz running late that filled my keks up. By the time the safety rails were off and I wuz pulling the floor out from under my feet it was starting to get a bit smelly.:eek:

Your a roofer? is that roofer roofer or sheeter?

I'm a rescue technician.:p:p:p

I'm only roofing cos it's about £17k cheaper for me and pikey to do the other halfs mums roof than it would be to pay someone else to do it.:eek::eek::eek:
