I had to borrow a Disco wheel for mine today; I took my daughter to a new stable yard to see about a horse share, and when I arrived, I had a bloody flat!! Hadn't felt a thing driving along! Hadn't got a spare, so the owner of the horse, who we'd only just met, not only lent me his spare, but chivalrously changed the wheel for me as well; top bloke!
She certainly looks a bit odd now though, with a Disco wheel and road tyre on it!! :)

what i can see of it the 90 degree bend at the bottom was seperate but the rest of the length is 1 peice bent to shape
i did'nt like the idea of drilling 6 or 8 holes in me wing/window pillar with the plastic 1's
just 1 hole to drill in the window pillar and its solid as a rock

Yesterday ... Changed all fluids, water/de-icer, diff oils, gearbox oils, engine oil, filled with diesel .. ;) Also did filters, air, fuel, oil, no time to do the sedimenter but toying with the idea of removing it altogether. Also gave it a hose-down, and emptied the mud from drivers side footwell!! Now almost looks clean .. ;)

Brake fluids changed OK, but having trouble bleeding the front off-side so new thread in Disco section .. :(

put new center exhurst bracket on my 90 rattle free. found that dam nut that rattle for the last 6 months when at idle.then done put on new rear brake shoes. found out springs one side not on shoe at all other broke. orderd new drums and springs to do a proper job! i think I should start a new thred HOW MY LANDY HURT ME . look out for it. "can i have a plaster?"

Found the reason for the pulling front brakes, the CV seal was leaking all over them. Found that I need a TORX head socket to remove the calipers (Halfrauds here I come)and found the pistons in the caliper on the other side were seized solid so my brakes were working on 1 pad at the front for the last few weeks. Time to get a caliper refurb kit.

Fook all! Might take the Rear tub off if i can be arsed in a bit... Been trying to fix the ****ing laptop my brother got a virus on... Now it won't connect to any network
