mseries - when yo bro gets back to using msn - get him tochange the password as well - coz it will be signing in as yo brother and forwarding the virus via his account. Also tell yo brother to tell the peep wot sent the file - that he/she needs to change their pwd as well.

Already changed the password and will get him to tell his friend tommorow.

and make sure there's nothing in your received files folder that you dont know about - especially .exe files

how did you remove the virus ?

would be worth running one of the online scans again just to make sure, plus it might indentify which virus you have, which would then give us a clue as to how to sort it - althou often it's quicker and more effective to do a complete clean install

Download documentation, updates, and betas for Kaspersky Lab products

It seemed to delete AVG, And when i tried to reinstall AVG it would not let me, So i downloaded Avast and it seemed to clear it.... If i can find the Window Disc i think i am just going to reinstall windows... Oh the joy...

it'll almost certainly be quicker - and you'l end up with a nice clean machine afterwards - as soon as you've got it up and running properly again get a copy of Acronis True Image - Home - this will allow you to create a complete image of your entire HD, so if you get another virus or the HD goes pop you can quickly restore the entire HD - i use this as a backup method and do it at least twice a week

fitted new bump stops
fitted new rear seatbelt tie rods
wired in my rear work lamps, switch and relay and brought a live through from the battery.
wired in a ciggy socket in the boot
fitted a new propshaft dougnut
stripped, welded and painted the rear outer body cross member with redoxide.
painted the sills with oxide.

and now for an ice cold cider, or two and watch top gear...!:beer2::beer2:

Wanna help me do that? Not good at electrickery

If you take the cover off the O/S rear corner you'll find a Purple wire which is quite thick. That carries a Permanent live and you can drill an hole in the top of the cover to mount the socket to. Be aware though that fag lighters aren't designed to be used for long periods. You'd be better fitting a 20amp Din socket instead. they look like a fag lighter socket but are designed for HD long term usage.

Is this why they call you "Redhand...font of all knowledge"?

I brought 33A thinwall fused at 20A though to a 'marine' ciggy socket. The feed was from the AUX battery originaly destined for the work lights, but I decided to piggyback a ciggy socket to it. I reckon I got about a 3A draw before the fuse blows if I got the lights on, or 20A in daylight..!

I got no real use for a ciggy socket, I just put it in as there wernt one there!

Today I have mostly been....
Takin' off the vent grille/mesh type thingies..

'cos they were only tacked on and flimsy! Gonna replace them with the ones out of the white bus as they're much better...

Bulkheadmods037.jpg

I finally managed to get the Range rover running properly, turns out for the month that i have been wasting by setting the timing then re-setting it numerous times, it turned out to be a wire on the coil being conected to the wrong point :eek::eek::doh:

Well I just spent a huge chunk of the weekend changing the clutch in my
