Just bought it a new terrafirma steering damper ,should get it fitted this weekend if weathers fine

Sorted out the sluggish solenoid on the rear off-side door on the Disco .... :D

locks smartly now ...

The, sometimes locks - sometimes not - or very slowly, solenoid was making the battery drain over time as the solenoid continued to draw current while it was doing nothing and not locked ... :eek:
 
Managed to get a couple of hours at the workshop, after checking the alignment of the pullies the cambelt is now on, rad and intercooler are in.

Hopefully I can get the rest back together tomorrow evening.
 
finished of the gearbox renewal of the works D1 today. looks like mine will be getting a rest now hopefully. so long as nothing else goes wrong with the works one
 
just finished front radius arm bushes (fitted poly bushes) track rod ends and rod. the difference in the ride is quite good now. so will enjoy driving it until somat else falls off:D but being a land rover it always keeps me busy.

Took her for her mot yesterday n she passed woohoo, did get a comment on the ticket though that it was very mucky!! Lol
 
took a spare set of hockey sticks for shot blasting prior to fitting camber adjustment bushes.

are 200TDI Disco and 300TDI the same?
 
Had the defender 5 months now and heater never worked, struggled all over bloody winter with the 5am starts and not being able to clear the screen, managed to fix it this morning so am a happy chappy right now as was an easy fix and didn't have to buy any bits :)
