Replaced rear damper bush. Removed panhard rod to drop off at local garage to have new bushes pressed in. Adjusted rear brakes.

Adjusted two wheel bearings and done the next step on tuning the pump today.

Also checked out how to extent the brake pipe mounts ready to fit the 2" lift blocks.

just trying to lighten the mood, doe a deer a female deer, ray a drop of golden sun.:D:D

Gems!! :eek:I feel so bad as I love animals. I reversed back up (after I'd checked SL for damage and miraculously there is none) :(and just saw a broken bambi writhing around and it looked right at me :(. When the gamekeeper found it they had no choice but to shoot it. Apparently it was obvious it had been hit by a "truck" :puke:

Still it didn't suffer long. :(

You feeling bad yet? :p

A Bambi?? Wow that makes 110Womans, squirrel, seem like a non event.. Wheres the Pics FFS??

Lol!!! Even the gamekeeper couldn't take it. It was in a really bad way. He left it for the foxes.

got Jakob back on all 4 wheels instead of floating in the street after the panhard bracket issue. as I took it to bits I found the front radius arm bracket had come away from the axle aswell so the passenger one was only held to the axle by the rear bolt. next job is to completely redo it again as I have since found that this axle case has a pin hole in the diff pan

Wouldn't want to eat anything road hit adrenalin in the blood makes it taste off and with bruising of the meat normaly makes a mess could use for mincing for sausages etc but still never do it, normaly use for fox bait or in the pit/ incinerator.

By law it's the councils property so taking the Caracas would be theft but nobody gives a toss haha.

Don't think I'll be eating venison anytime soon. Still, I've missed all the gamekeeper's pheasants so far. Maybe I'll try for one....:p

didn't realise it would be council property but knew that you can't collect what you hit but you can if it is already hit

Nope still councils property. It's their ground/ highway so bellongs to them untill they say otherwise. No point in ever contacting the local council as they'd just laugh at you. Just pick it up and dispose of ye self.
Can legaly dispatch any non protected animal that is suffering by any means you see necessary to prevent suffering providing it brings about a quick death. so knife or firearm as long as it's not private ground or it would be armed tresspass, or any other "instrument" shall we say that would do the job.

I'm not aware of any law regarding reporting of cats. Dogs you have to report by law.
Being a keeper I have to know most of the law regarding animals/firearms etc etc but I'm only a young nipper so could be old laws or odd parts I'm not aware of yet always learning!

I've retuned her so that she ticks over as she should.
It only took a couple of hours, since the 'indi' managed to screw everything up!
Next time everything will be paid by credit card as there appears to be no comeback with a debit card!!! WHY fFS????

OSD,there is a comeback with a debit card,go to your bank and dispute it,it was made a legal ruling earlier this year.

tried to fix the mess of the front steering damper to diff mounting bracket. the nearside has been welded  to the diff, and the offside has had a nut over the bolt to act as a spacer as no damper is fitted.
Got 2 M10x1.0mm x 25mm bolts - only to discover it doesnt seem to fit :(.
what IS the correct thread size?

has to give up and put it all back as it was - not a happy bunny :(.
