fitted new numberplates as mine were knackered and likely to get me pulled and found why she was drinking so much oil. I had made a hash of fitting the lift pump and missed the gasket :frusty:

I've been looking at what I'll need in order to do some work on my steering swivels in the near future. I've started filling a basket at LR Direct (so I can avoid Britpart bearings and seals) but to identify some of the components correctly I'll need the axle number and this is not revealing itself when I crawl underneath with a torch and scratch the front axle with my fingernails. It'll have to wait until I've got the car jacked up properly and can get under with a wire brush and inspection lamp. It's not urgent but I'd like to get it done over Christmas if I can.

The power steering pipes look a bit wet with oil where they come out of the pump. There's no fluid loss from the reservoir so it must only be a very small leak. One of the spring clips had come off the little pipe that goes from the turbo hose to the wastegate mechanism. The engine was a bit sluggish to pick up yesterday so maybe that's why. Always something needing attention.

got stuck, got muddy, got wet and had plenty of laughs cheers Blackstrat ATKO and Matt just a shame I was a ground anchor a few times need to get better tyres for next time

Took her out for the weekend taking the otherhalf away for her birthday. She got muddy. So did the landy.

Unfortunately ive got a whine from the box in 4th and 5th mainly. Always known it to be loud but not this loud and whiney. Recently did an oil change and no metal lumps present just swarf on the magnet. Everywhere on the Internet says its a dieing box.

Is this so? :(

Took back of the garage off so I could get 90 into back yard for safe keeping and to make room for brothers 90 ready for chassis swap.
Fitted roof and back door for the first time since the rebuild. Fitted perfectly :)
