Half of footwell repaired, had to weld another piece in as the floor plate crumbled away, few more patches to put in but not bad for a novice welder, run out of gas so a bit of contamination, but am happy with it, no more cold and wet feet!!

Having fitted new rear discs and calipers a month ago, today I changed the Brembo pads that were squealing and waking the neighbours. I had tried everything to get rid of the noise (copper grease etc.) but todays change to genuine LR pads seems to have solved the problem....at least for the moment. I'm waiting to see.

Late last night son ordered a new spare 265 / 75 x 16 insa turbo special track tyre complete with a fitted black modular wheel from paddocks which should be here tomorrow and as i am off tomorrow i will fit it to the back door to replace the ally freestyle wheel and A/T tyre that's fitted to it now
