Took it for its 1st half decent run, only about 30 smiles but very enjoyable.....Put diesel in the tank to ensure the gauge was working....Speedo not working, don't think I was going very fast as there was a few cars behind me :) but who cares....its 27 years old and needs treating with care!!! Think its a good replacement for the 300 Disco :high5:

Decided i need to sort out a proper spare as me tires are getting older.

Dont suppose anyone has some wheels knocking about?

Foned Tim Fry Landrovers and was quoted £120 +Vat. Collect in person. For 2 Propshaft UJ's & and 2 wheel bearing kits. Then Foned Paddocks and got quoted £61 Inc Vat & Express Delivery. Guess who got me money. :D

Oh and both quoted for Timken Bearings & GKN Hardy Spicer UJ's..

I've done a service, changed the oil and filters. I discovered something ominous when I came to do the fuel filter. The alloy housing that the filter screws onto and all the pipes go into was disintegrating and had come away from the bolts that hold it to the chassis. It's a TD5, so it's under the rear wheel arch. It looked like someone a long time ago had broken it and repaired it with some sort of epoxy putty. I'm surprised it has lasted this long. The pipe sockets and filter socket are all intact so I put the bolts back in with big washers to clamp it to the chassis and a couple of self tapping screws so stop it sliding downwards. I'll need a new one sooner or later. They're round about £100 though so it will have to wait.

Fitted new 42" led light bar, shame the basterd doesn't work.
Now gota wait for a replacment
Thanks eBay!

I do - I have some 235x70x16 with BF Goodrich AT's on (5 of them all in excellent condition) just got some new 33's on mine so are now redundant
