Got another defender a few days ago, it was real dirty inside so decided to give it a quick clean.
I started in the cab where the seat runners were full to the top with muck, took them out, took rubber mats/soundproofing out, took battery out, dog guard out.
God it's filthy, on my third day doing it around work and rain and not started putting anything back yet which all needs cleaning before refitting :rolleyes:

Guess on a plus side I've doubled it's value:D

Fitted my new tallon phone and tablet holders - pics to follow.

Sadly she is getting used very little since moving to London.
 
Got crap in my eye now in f eckin a and e. Spent 4 hours at home washing it out but the damn thing wouldn't budge!!! Aaghhhh and can't thing what it is I must have rubbed my eyes!!!
 
got it back,i have got my disco td5 back,it has been away at jamesmartins having a chassis put on it after the old one was found to be fecked.:banana::banana::banana:
 
Prepared for a laning trip tomorrow :). Checked the fluids, fitted the wading plugs, attached the pioneer tools and brimmed the tank with diesel.
 
In order to prepare the roof for painting I washed the roof with panel wipe, then jet washed it, then added TFR, then sponged it down and finally jet washed it again.

Result......

It now looks like it doesn't need painting :D
 
Took granddaughter to see the hoss, then she's staying overnight. Good job the Landy got big boot, how can someone so small have so much stuff! :eek::D
