Stripped nearside front hub, fitted new bearings and seal, tomorrow new pads and repeat on other side, maybe replace front springs and dampers too if I get time as bits sat waiting....if the showers hold off!!!

Removed EGR fitted new front left disc, tomorrow you know what I HAVE to do before I go back to work

Loads of little things, and nothing much actually accomplished!

Got the offside rockslider brackets welded on and it's currently bolted up to the bodywork .. will finish it tomorrow. The nearside will be a mirror image and ought to be so much easier to fit that I'm dreading it .. ;)

Looking good mate what you doing with it. Are you galving the duck.

New galv chassis on order mate, putting R380 and 1.4 transfer box in as its too high geared for towing. Painting engine and boxes blue to match the new springs and blue radiator:D

Grey tubular winch bumper going on with grey wheels, should look ok but not to every ones taste:rolleyes::)

Drove past ****part today was thinking of going in with a load of broken parts and throwing them at them.:violent:

fitted me noo bed platform ready for LZ Bash. Got some 5ft x 17" offcuts of 18mm Ply. 8 pieces for the grand price of £6 :D & cos it's 5ft wide it makes a much better base than the 4ft lengths of chipboard I was using.

Also ripped out the overhead storage shelf and made a new one that's twice as deep as the old one. So now I'll be able to fit me speakers to it anorl. :)

Oh and I've fitted a 12v fluorescent strip light to the underside of the shelf. Just need to wire it up tomorrow after work.

OK - hands up - I fooked up yesterday.
while standing at the pumps in tescos garage, bored, looking at the £s rolling in, I stopped at £20, then looked at the green pump still in my filler hole..
yes, mines diesel....;)
said to the wifey, ####it....who then looked as If i had stolen her cigerettes..
so I got my reciept from the pay at pump, then put my card back in--blah blah blah and put in £20 worth of diesel :)
I had already put in 10 litres of veggie @ £9,
so turned round to go back to the store and bought another 10litres @£9 to put that in aswell.
tank - £20 of V-power unleaded, £20 of pump diesel, 10litres followed by another 10lires of veggie, plus a dash of comma 2T to make it mix betterera.. = 3/4 full tank of "mixture"

well, over the two days now done nearly 200 miles as moderate speeds towing a small box type trailor - no fuss - no dramas, no noises/smoke/or unusual things, just the normal old Disco of mine...

boy am I lucky...

Love my ol` disco does I....lol

Lucky indeed, bet that lead to a few paranoid miles, listening intently for anything unusual :p

Fitted my overhead shelf in the cab and fitted the speakers cause ballast gets grumpy when speakers land on her head :D
