Nooo by the looks of it I will be lucky to find a straight one!
Ive ordered 8 so was going to replace them all.
Rockers look fine, no idea aboit valves, dont know how to check?

forget that for now,not sure if the belt going will affect the valves on your engine.

Ah OK, I presume because its not overhead cam its less likely to damage the valves. The rods must be a weaker part (I hope)

yes that is right,if it was my engine/cyl head i would overhaul it while it is on the bench.

well if you buy a complete head gasket set,then you will get new valve stem seals in the kit.

ahh sorry,i thought you had.
Ha thats why I dont know if me valves are ok. All ive done so far is pull some bits out and look under the rocker cover. I is slow.

well the push rods are the weakest part,so hopefully you will be ok.fingers crossed.

well i know what i would do in your situation.take the head of and re furb it whilst i had the chance.
