fitted my new windscreen washers went to fit the new door hinges and found they were the wrong ones then decided to start fitting my wading breather kit and it started persisting it down so called it a day

I have kicked mine shouted at it(didn't answer back and wasnt bothered).
And finally taken it to get fixed by someone who's meant to know what's wrong.. to watch him swear at it poke it pull all electrics out and say yep its broken!
Put all electrics back in( leaving a worrying amount of wires detached in a pile on floor) to find its all working fine again..
Kicked wires out onto workshop floor and jobs done.....
Lighter wallet and landi!

Driven it about 150 odd miles wiv me left hand jammed against the hi/low selector to stop the swine continuosly jumping into neutral.

Thanks to LZIR bods for being on alert along the A39/38 from Woolycombe to Brizzle!!

I have had problems with my hi/lo aswell think I have it adjusted right now though but now I have lost my headunit so more fun to be had.
Is it usual to have it click into hi or lo but then have alot of movement on the stick before it goes into neutral and to have alot of movement in neutral aswell? could this be some of my problem possibly pointing towards a worn selector fork?

due to the delights of drunken ebay.....I now own a 2008 td5 rear door complete!:D Mates collecting it tomorrow!

May of over spent so canna buy anything else tae after Kenya! balls!:(

Put me new prop on, what a job 6/8 of the nuts came nicely and the other to... Well, not so.
The prop made a good job of bludgeoning them on its way around. Took the transfer box flange off to out the new bolts in and it decided to pi55 itself all over my arm, must have been well overfilled as it's only a few mm below the fill line.

Now that's quite an achievement seeing as they stopped making the TD5 in 2006/7. A bit like finding one of those Roman coins with the date 10BC stamped on them.

My mate came today and got 200tdi in running order, started first time and runs lovely with no smoke, still got a bit to do before he can drive it home though, 110 callipers to go on and a bit of bodywork, bumper etc:)
