got my relays, so i can get the glows and brakes working again. also bits to switch the fuses from glass to blades

and i got them working again! next job is the blade rewiring.. but it's frickin cold so i'm going to stick a leccy heater in it from the house :D :violent:

Pikey took apart the ambulance heater fan just to make sure it will never work again  :p

Sealed upsome holes and re-sealed some roof seams and sorted the numberplate illumination light.

So close to sorting the mot failure list I'm going to go for it to avoid paying for a retest

Finally got an alloy wheel to match the four 18" ones. The "spare" on the Disco 2 was a 16" - worked fine though due to the different tyre profiles giving the same overall rolling diameter. However, it's nice to have a matching set.
£30 via ebay. Just need to get a tyre on it now

Took mine in for its French MOT. I knew it would not pass as the foot wells need replacing, however it failed on a warn steering joint and the rear brakes pulling to one side and a rear wheel bearing needs tightening. No mention of the foot wells. I will get them done anyway. Not bad for a 23 year old vehicle.

I have a 1990, 200tdi. 110 defender. Anyone know how you can tell if I have 10" or 11" rear drum brakes without having to take the wheel off an measure them. I'm feeling lazy and its cold out there.

Fitted some lovley 54watt Cree LED spot lights! 3700lumens and peice :D
