How did he do that?
Did he paint it or print it? If printed do you know the name of the font?
I only ask because I've had a custom name in mind for a while...

he done it at work, he works for a sign maker, and he is a graphic designer;)

its a print on top of a chrome background, all done with vinyl.

this is just the prototype he's gonna put it on the original freelander badge when i get round to stripping the old lettering off.

as for the font, i cant help, some program he's got on a pc can copy the style of the original letters:confused:

Stripped the rear brakes. Cleaned everything, greased pivot points and reassembled. Wire brushed then painted drums before replacing them. Adjusted handbrake. This was after the hand brake not releasing twice this week.

Replaced porpshaft bearings, and the front mount on rear diff, was clunking on accelaration. Knew what needed doing but took a while to get a ramp at my mates garage.

Finished off doing a service on the TD4. Jaysus the filler plug on the IRD was mega tight to the realm of insanity...took all my strength with a breaker bar to undo it. Anybody would think that it had to hold over 500 bar of pressure !!
Decided to replace the brake fluid following RAVE which goes against all normal procedures (Nearest first furthest last, instead of furthest first then work back !!) Did the fronts and then found that both rear bleed nipples were rusted solid and I couldn't shift them...new cylinders needed a.s.a.p.

Fitted a new cabin filter yesterday down in the passenger footwell, old one was gross, may have been the original one fitted in the factory in 2004, it was that manky.

Gonna fit an EGR bypass today if the rain holds off.

Took the mud away from the engine bay.

Two of these:

Most of it was on the undertray.

Washed ours today & wife hoovered it and cleaned the plastics in the cabin. Checked front tyres after being on ramp yesterday, hoping they had more tread left, need a pair soon (Recently fitted two on rear)

Mad weekend in wales. Took paint off on rock and had to be rescued with 2 whinches and a tow rope all at once to stop her rolling over into beck. Turned me ghost white in face that bit.

I thought you are supposed to change all 4 at the same time bud?

Hopefully Iam wrong but I just rotate mine so they are all up for renewal at the same time, which is a bugger price wise ha ha

Biggest rolling diameter to be on the rear at all times!

When my fronts wear out I have them reshod and swapped to the rear ;)
