Wifey ran into front of it parking, quite hard - despite having sonar (or is it radar?). No damage that I can see, oh and it was my fault???

Changed the diff oil, IRD oil, and engine oil and filter. Tomorrow tackle the gear box oil, air filter, crank case breather mod, and auxiliary belts.

Changed crank case, air and pollen filters, and cleaned crap out off inlet manifold, will do the same to wifes one on a dry non snowy day + both oils and filter changes.:)

Took it for a spin around the countryside looking for a nice Old fashioned hotel/pub to have for my wedding reception!

Loved every second of it..... Apart from the wedding bit.... God help me lol

Fitted the air filter, without losing anything down the back. Did the mod with the BMW part to the crank case breather/filter, looked like the old filter had never been changed it was like soft tar. Had to file a little slot in the side of the BMW part to make it fit properly.

Then tackled the auxiliary belts. Luckily I could place the car over the pit so that I didn't have to remove the wheel but I removed the splash plate to give a better view. Getting both belts off was no problem, getting the compressor belt back on was no problem, but getting the big belt back on caused a few problems.

Every time I put tension on the nut of the tension wheel it slackened off so I had to tighten that up a few times before I could get enough tension on it to slip the belt on, but got there in the end.

Just wondering if I have done any damage to the tension wheel by tightening the nut up ???

Today I fiitted a pair of Bosch Aero wipers, bloody excellent in todays rain ands really quiet.

Missus said they looked kinda gay. Left her on the side of the road somwhere near Droitwich. She's probably been eaten by a bear by now.

Still waiting for delivery of a parcel shelf and listened out for the ever increasing number of rattles, whistles and farts.

Oh and replaced the front wipers for Bosch ones. Can't work out whether I've bought the wrong rear blade though, probably have.
