Dropped the newly purchased machine off back at the dealer today for warranty repairs as the passenger heated seat and reversing sensors don't work

I'm surprised you even need a heater, never mind heated seats.

Doesn't the sun shine every day - way down south there in the Free Republic of Kernow? :p

Good luck getting it fixed.

And where are the pics of this black chariot?

I just changed the oil and filter, took it for a run and it's smoking like ####! Smoke has a slight blue tinge, I wonder if its just cleaning itself or if I need to change the oil for a better quality one!

The only one I've got at the mo, and it was sunny. ;)

Terrible grinding noise when I tried to raise the drivers window earlier today so stripped off the door card to find the regulator cable hanging by a thread, need to get a new one. The white nylon rollers are pretty bad too so will just buy a full regulator, anywhere cheaper than Ebay????

I bough all 4 window kits from ebay. I will let you know how I get on with them.

Yeah I know they are widely regarded as dog ****, but it has to beat the insulating tape that's currently holding them closed.

You may be fine - I never had any luck with the kits so ended up buying one LR mech (cost sheds) and a pattern one (less sheds) but least you know its done. Best with it!

took it and her indoors for a 100mile trip around Northumberland

well parked up and had a smoke!

Almost finished fitting the front right lift, but realised I hadn't cut the wing to stop the track rod end catching, so left it for tonight. Finish tomorrow after ####ing about writing CVs and ****!

If its a two inch lift it needs more than just cutting a little!
