Painted tyre walls with black stuff for painting tyres. They looks like new ha ha. stopped at posh used 4x4 dealer. loverly FL2's and D3's. Wifey got inside an FL2 - this my friends is progress towards master plan. A couple o nice bug eye Jeep CRD's, I likes them as well tbh - proper transfer box.

Drove to work with the obd2 live data displaying the engine temp and inlet air temp using the Torque App on my mobile. Pleased to see the engine only got to 100°C!! Then noticed a front brake dragging :( so ordered a pair of rebuild kits for the calipers!!

I have a dragging caliper - could be the flexi!

This is defo the caliper. It's fine with new pads and pads that are dead!! With the 1/4 worn pads that are in there it's sticking. It's probably because it was sitting idle in all weathers for 6 months whilst I sorted the engine?? I've got the seals kit so there's a little job for Saturday along with the auto fluid change that I'd already planned!!

Strategically positioned a bag of snow-chains and a set of jump-leads behind the passenger seat.

SV.

Nothing today, but observation for you. FL2's everywhere and I'm not parked in dealership. Must be the most successful (fastest selling) LR ever. Quite a few D3 and 4's as well. Good news for wannabes, like me :)

Had to do a quick fix as the accelerator pedal refused to rev the engine!! Only to discover the cruise control operating rod had come off the vacuum capsule and jammed the throttle cam?? At least it was an easy fix :)
