Few jobs done today

removed the bonnet letters

Done the windows along with using a Stanley blade to remove all the little bits stuck on the glass inc the old glue from tints that I removed from the back

Need to have a look at my headlight as I noticed condensation in it today , maybe it’s just a loose plug at the back where the bulbs are secured

Need to sort out door handle covers

Pleased with the windscreen scuttle and A pillar trim I sprayed

Wow, what on Earth happened there mate , did the engine over heat

Edit ,apologises , just seen ur other thread, hope everything goes to plan mate
Thanks. We have had it since 2007 so I suppose we have had our money's worth. Just this year we have changed the clutch, had the chassis welded and finally sorted out the sunroofs that had been leaking for last ten years. It passed it's MOT in May and it would be nice to get it going again.

Thought you done that ages ago? Or are they just in focus now:)

Found any OF ones yet:D

J

Thks and indeed I did do it a little while ago, it didn’t quite fit neatly in the panel so had to finely sand it down to ensure it was a 100% fit

Apologises , what the OF ones please

Cheers for the reply , have done a series from the chassis up a long time ago so understand how long it takes

Did however buy a short block, got the head skimmed , mainly because I didn’t have the enough knowledge to know how to size the pistons, shells etc correctly

Hope all goes well and will follow ur other thread with interest , doing a cracking job there and ur soon be back on the road

Made up a test rig for my ac, so can use pressure and vacuum , saving money the oil extractor pump will work

Good thing is also be able to use the test rig for my air suspension , ie if there a leak somewhere etc

Also new brake hoses turned up, job for another day , as that will be all of them replaced , inc the rear drop link to be done
