Managed to find and unblock the elusive lower drain hole for the A pillar on my D2 and got a free shower at the same time ... win - win 
I swear so much water came out of it that one side of the car actually rose up slightly!

Changed inner cv boot, farted about, couldn't be arsed to fit new front prop in the rain. Losing interest in it now
Went to the unit to start on the D1 electrics.... started with the lights as nothing was working
now have side lights, main beam, full beam & rear indicators flashing super fast,no side repeaters or front indicators & stood looking into the engine bay & wondered why the fuck do I do this to myself

Had the local mobile welder come around and repair some rust damage on rear chassis leg. He spent a lot of time hammering and grinding before welding. Very pleased with the result and only charged £60.

The only thought now though is that I should drill a couple of drain holes at the lowest point.

First real task done myself... cleaned the map sensor!

After having the rear chassis leg welded yesterday, we put the fuel tank back and today it passed its MOT. I had been a bit foolish and bought some steering track rod and drag link bars in anticipation but will have to sell off now.

Hoovered it out and took 6 of us to a family party in uncompromising comfort. With a suspension fault bong going off every 10mins

Arranged for the 3rd party insurance company to collect and fix the wifes d3 and drop off a loan car for x2 weeks

Took mine laning in mid Wales on Tuesday in preparation for an afternoon / night laning run in a couple of weeks
Since then I've just washed it and driven it backwards and forwards to work.
I'll probably service it before I go and fit the extended breather lines I've got sat around
I have finally fitted cranked arms to it that I've had sitting about for several months
