Looks good!
How much was the powder coating for all 4 wheels?
Cheers mate.
Was done by a very good friend who I’ve known a lot of years so he looked after me on price very well.

This week Iv been very busy,Iv fitted a new handbrake cable, extended my breathers, fixed my dull rear light, repaired some rot in the front inner wing and fitted a safari snorkel.Oh and changed both diff oils and fitted brass filler plugs.

Found out why the front passenger carpet was wet.
The water was coming in through a small screw hole beneath the cable entry.
Can't find the drain hole for the bottom of the A pillar though, anyone know it's location?

Started to replace the oil seals on the front drive shafts.

Actually I just spent half an hour standing and on a breaker bar trying to undo the hub nut. Hasn’t even been staked by whoever changed them last.

It’s having an evening of penetrating oil with a bag taped over it to stop the local cats p1ssing on it before I get the jack under the breaker bar tomorrow morning.

1/2 IMHO is a waste of time, See if you can find someone with a 3/4 who can lend you one.

How are you planning on tightening it?

Cheers

Good call actually, is the bar itself thicker on a 3/4?

My tame mechanic friend runs a garage that fixes vans etc... he said if I tighten them up as far as I can and take it to his garage he’ll torque them up and stake them for free.

Yep, bar is a lot thicker on the ones I have. Plus it is longer.

Cheers

Started messing around with the wiring for my new aux panels

Now able to at least sit at the table for a little before my back starts to burn like hell, progress I think ,

Got some other bits as well over the months , small display unit will go next to my T max control box, that provides live data and also can clear / read fault codes

Also found a half decent terminal extractor kit, I’ll be taking a lot of the dashboard apart to get everything wired in

Just realised that trying to adjust the wastegate threads after giving the engine a good run isn't a good idea...
It's slighty warm!
