So this weekend I completed 3 jobs off my list, but found another 10 along the way to add to it. Ugh.

But I changed the injector harness, repaired roof lining, and fitted the fire extinguisher.

Next weekend it’s the power steering box to replace :3 I wonder how many more jobs I will find whilst under the car then.

Better buy some more A4 paper for the ever increasing job list

Better using a cheap roll of wallpaper, at least then it's only one page :p:p

Leaking front and back no surprise. Drain tubes still ok and not blocked!! Going to remove old sealant and use Silkaflex.

The only gripe I have with my D2 is last owner sealed up the front Sunroof instead of fixing it properly.. back one if fine and no leaks but what good is that in this weather..

Started swapping the interior from rust bucket to project

Yep agree with weather, not sealing them permanently just going to reseal the frame to the body and replace rubber seal as well.

Headlining down and out, sunroofs out to reseal to body and be able to use them again. The previous owner had used mastic to seal the lot, including all round the glass. What a job cleaning all the crap off was,was still soft as **** in most places. Why oh why do people insist on doing stuff like that? Did my rails while I was at it too, gotta refit headlining tomorrow but upon removal some of it started to sag.So now I’m faced with a dilemma of what to do about that? Oh the joys

Popped her up for sale on the "For Sale" section... can't put the miles on her that are about to start... so have taken the company "van" option....

Finished putting it all back together, chucked water over it,seems dry so happy days. Also collected a full service kit, sump and rocker gaskets, and the injector loom too.I went for a look round upullit and got myself a spare ACE block to get sorted for when my pipes eventually fail.

Fitted cruise control unit and then started to clean underneath to search for the oil leak that has almost got me banned from the work car park ! May have to fabricate a fitted drip tray

The first place to check for an oil leak on the Td5, if that's what you've got is from the gasket seal at the back end of the rocker cover. The next to check is the round rubber seal at the front of the engine, in line with the cam shaft.

Finally persuaded the wife that her drivers seat cushion needed sorting out. Managed to get a passenger seat from ebay cheaply and swapped cushions over. Slightly lighter colour but a lot more supportive.
