You'd be surprised how much is packed into a silencer box.. your landy might cough up a few more before it done lol.. down side is that stuff is restricting your exhaust while it works it way out, and how much is snagged in the pipes

Swapped all four doors over and took both front wings, indicators and head lights of the rust bucket and put them on the project :D:D

Stripped the old mud flap bracket off, bit of rot in the inner arch so need to get some new metal in to attach new bracket

Bodged that one with some Quicksteel aluminium epoxy  camping in bewdley tomorrow for 3 nights so the rest will have to wait til next week. Cutting discs and 2mm steel on order, havent got a welder though so think it's get someone to come and do it or rivet the plate on with plenty of tigerseal as well  any other suggestions? Tek screws?? :D

Does the disco 1 and 2 have inner plastic wheel arches to protect the metal wheel arch form water jetted at it at speed when yer driving?

D1's have a plastic inner wing between the wing itself and the metal inner wing, same really on the back but they are prone to rot where the plastic fixings are.

Walking through the garden centre yesterday saw some Swarfega Degreaser and thought i would give it a go as it was really cheep at £6.99.. now the injector loom has been done and new rocker cover gasket fitted the engine needed a good clean, not just so it looks good, but to make it easier to spot any new leaks..

Real easy to use, just sprayed it on, left it for 5 mins, used a paint brush on the most stubborn bits and washed off with the hose pipe.. It did a good job I think.
