I've done nothing physically to it, but have ordered two new sets of headlamp clips and adjusters
A new 120 amp alternator
A new set of heavy duty steering links
A headlamp washer nozzle
And will be looking at tomorrow's autojumble at Malvern for anything that catches my eye...

got that terrain response in mine , i certainly don't intend to abuse the 4 x wheel drive system

sounds quite a clever system by using traction control and electronic diff locks , got them front back and centre

had a 109 , when i was about 22 , went round a corner and the back slid round and in the blink of an eye was in a field

learnt real fast that 4 wheel drive means jack if there's nothing for the tyres to grip to

a lesson learned and noted , seems many rely on technology too much and as u say come a cropper
But at least in a Landy you can usually drive back through that new hole you made. UNLIKE in the average Mundane GLS

2 separate motors, altho they looked similar .......Marine first then the Ital.......LOL

Grandad had a few, he always had a sack of cement in the boot during winter.

Cheers

shall i say the Ital was an updated model then :p;)

wasn’t the other trick to use some lead over the rear wheel arches

Only for those that had visited the local church recently.
I did hear usage of a bag of tatties as well, altho you had to switch them out otherwise the car started to smell.

Cheers

maybe the smell was Ital owners throwing bodies in the boot ;)

still see the idiots at weekends attempting to drift there cars in the local shopping centre car parks , ie lakeside and blue water , maybe take an Ital down there and win all the events , lol
