And I thought I was going to be facing a bit of a bill next week. MoT, all filters, engine oil change and a load test on the battery.

If it's an automatic, how about an arm and a leg?
That way he can keep the kidney for next time it has to go in.

Lets not be silly, how about one kideny and one liver......much more sensible....
After all that, is is ready to play?

Cheers

final thing will be to drop the headlining and fit the curtain airbags

will be finished then and ready for some fun ,

lz time , lol

the joys of owning a landy

but the joy of driving them are priceless , worth every penny

how about a great land rover mod

one of those note machines installed, so u keep feeding it, saving u all the trouble of ever owning a wallet :D:D

I want a D3 :(

there's plenty around,

have to make sure the cam belts etc have been replaced, otherwise allow up to a grand to replace

im not to far away from u , would be more than happy to go with u if u wish when u go and look at one

will plug the iid in as well, to see what faults come up, good bargaining tool

wondered if anyone would be interested in a thread like this

thought i would start it off

got some new tyres fitted

replaced all the wheel nuts

new locking wheel nuts and wipers ordered

ran a bead of silicone between the windscreen and bodywork to try and stop the water leak getting inside the car, allowing water to then travel down , onto the floor and along the wiring loom tract

working on how to resolve my srs airbag light

egr bypass kit bought and need to pluck up the courage to fit it

what's everyone else been up to please

Yes fair few on eBay. Unfortunately due to faults and a difficult dealer looks like the Jeep is going back.
As much as I'd love to persuade the missus a D3 is the way to go think gonna be sensible and lower the budget for now.
Probably gonna have a diesel mondeo st as her new daily soon.

Gonna keep my 300tdi commercial for at least a year and then look at maybe upgrading with a D2 V8 or even maybe a D3 as daily hack and occasional off-roader

few more bits to fit

suspension reservoir

inlet exhaust silencer

am wondering if it's worth putting some hammerite on the air tank before fitting it

Nice new shiny MoT certificate - no advisories.
Engine service too, filters and oil change. Asked the garage to do a load test on the battery for me at the same time, sadly it showed that the big black box of volts was on it's way out and could let me down at any time, next year or this coming Thursday when it starts snowing. Ordered a new Powerline C31-1000 (120 Ah/1000 CCA) battery from Tayna. It's being delivered in the morning (overnight) and will be fitted as soon as the predicted rain stops.
