ahhh come on!! You gotta start sometime and there’s always someone on here willing to help and advise....

If you’ve never made mistake.... you’ve never tried anything new
Haha Cheers! I have made many mistakes thats for sure! Next steps that i am going to do myself is fit the steering damper, attempt the winch bumper install, fit the rock sliders, and fit new rear wheel carrier. Any sensible cost effective tips on how to raise the vehicle to work underneith? Im thinking axel stands? With a trolly jack to lift in the first instance?

for the jobs you list above, you shouldn’t need to lift anything to do them.

Especially with your lift kit

but for general work, I tend to just used the bottle Jack from under the bonnet and some 3tonne axle stands.

If I had a nice smooth concrete area to work on I’d 100% have a decent trolley Jack

Yeah ok, should be fine. Any tips on replacing the existing bumper for the new one would be greatly appreciated. The new winch bumper comes with fog lights so these will need connecting etc.

So may the p**s taking begin :D toolkit turned up so decided that WFH was done for the day and started the job of trying to remove the side steps. Absolute failure! The bolts and nuts are so corroded, tried WD40 and tapping with a hammer but could not get the gits to budge. Now im searching screwfix for an angle grinder  no beginners luck today! Enjoyed it though, found it quite addictive, spent the last hour wedged underneith trying to work out how to start removing the bumper!

Yes... pretty sure these are 3/8. I have a bigger range set, but also these. Invaluable for getting off chewed head bolts.

2 hours to no avail yesterday with socket sets and spanners trying to ger the side steps and rear step removed! Quick trip to screwfix yesterday to get a grinder and just an hour today and they are off! Getting there now! Cant wait to get the new wheels on!

Having an engine bay day today.....extending all breathers to top of snorkle including rear axle one. Discovered the EGR delete has already been done. Noticed that the ECU box does not have a cover.....is this normal?

Hi, yes it should have a cover see pic. P/no YJM100100 it comes with the turnbuckle as well £26.88 inc. So don't go paying over the odds second hand which might have damage !

Extended all the breathers today up to top of bulkhead ready for Y connectors to then take them to top of snorkel in one line.
This is the rear....removed the old and put in new.
