Arrived at the surgery almost ploughing through the front door.

Ran in, and he was fine'ish Turns out he has very bad Asthma and had an attack.

He's been given steroids and the lark.

Hopefully it won't happen again, apparently it was a mixture of allergies and the heat. he's only barely 1, poor sod.

Anyway he's all good.

I just left it to allow the brakes to cool down as I did have some brake fade IE brakes on fire.

The Ice Cold Air con in the Disco did help as the inside gets freezing so he was happy with that, just drove around while he calmed down lol

The D2 is a good tow cow though and being simple it's rather cheap to maintain!

My next LR would prolly be a V8 Equipped D3 or I seriously invest in my current motor and drop in a V8.

I have a V8 short engine, waiting.
But the old girl if I'm going that deep will need a new chassis as this one is a tad too scabby.

So What to do.

And no the Derv swap isn't to future proof, derv still has a few years in it, just miss the V8 rumble of my P38 and want to have it in my Simpler D2 lol.

Gah! P38 needs to get going to, poor thing is gonna be one with the earth if i don't do something lol.

Now ur talking a nice V8 D3 , burble on them is awesome , would be nice in LPG I suppose to make it cheaper to run

Not many D3 V8s around to be honest

Could always buy a D3 that has a blown V8 engine , think u can then pick them up for under £1500-2k

Take the body off and treat the chassis, then a lot easier for the engine swap with the body off

Shame I’m not closer as would have certainly helped u where I could on the weekends, would be an awesome project
