Changed engine oil and filter. Neither son available today so used suction pump

When a son available I send them underneath to take out sump plug to drain oil when no one available pipe down dip stick pipe and use suction pump.I'm struggling with this one.. a son instead of a suction pump..

Did the oil and filter on mine also, along with the fuel filter. I've got the new wheel bearing g to fit and a slimline reverse light which is brighter than the candles in the boot lid
. We have no street lighting out here in the sticks and little more would help

Thats todays job is the fuel filter. I always make sure to fill it with diesel when putting new one on to save messing about having to bleed the systemDid the oil and filter on mine also, along with the fuel filter. Yes. I fit the new filter to a warm engine, cycle the ign a few times until fuel is bubble free in the clear pipe and start her up, idle a bit lumpy for a few seconds then done.
Wasn't sure of that but after having to bleed diesels in the past not taking the risk. Anyway job done and started first go with a cold engine
Fit it empty and pull the fuel pump relay, then bridge it with the ignition off. Far less mess son
