Thinking about it...might be wrong here..but don't early models only pump on cranking, later models just ign on?? Mines 2001 so I just have to cycle the ign. I do have a short length of wire with two male spades on it in my door pocket that I made up when I first got my 38. I actually completely ran out of fuel once but had a gerry can in the back. Took around 10 ign cycles iirc to get the completely empty system full again and started up.
I put the empty but damp fuel filter in my wood burner, they go well lol.

Did the oil and filter on mine also, along with the fuel filter. I've got the new wheel bearing g to fit and a slimline reverse light which is brighter than the candles in the boot lid🤣. We have no street lighting out here in the sticks and little more would help👌😎

Have you seen my setup?! No lights here.

AIRBAG FAULT back and also the SRS light is on. FFS.

The P38 has been retired from daily duties to now being a weekend only car. It’s thanked me by throwing a constant ABS/TC fault, so need to get the Nanocom on that..

But today has certainly highlighted the need for me to fix the air con. There’s certainly a leak from somewhere, so I think a new condenser is likely the culprit (maybe the compressor), it’s an early (as in 1st Jan) 2001 model - I am struggling to find out definitively if I can procure one of the cheaper early condensers or if I need to dig deeper and get a late one. Anyone have any advice?

Early one can be used, means a minor chopping off of some lower brackets AND a new compressor to condensor pipe. Island sell them, not cheap though.

£125 for the pipe 😳 definitely makes the saving of the earlier condenser less palatable. That’s for the advice though

Cleared the SRS fault. Hasn't come back yet which makes me think rotary coupler. Nanocom informed me the driver's airbag was open circuit?

Meanwhile, AIRBAG FAULT still shows but no faults recorded. Bit strange.

While I had the Nanocom out I checked the other modules and noticed the ABS is showing a pressure switch fault. I had noticed the brakes were heavier and the rears were wearing fast but I assumed it was because a flush and bleed was overdue. Can anyone remember which cars had the same switch but cheaper?!
